HUMBLE, Texas—A young Houston father was arrested after putting his infant in danger during a road rage incident, according to Humble police.

James Arthur Esparza, 22, was charged with felony child endangerment.

Police said Esparza was driving with his 9-month-old child when he got into a road rage altercation with another driver on November 23. Esparza allegedly pulled in front of another car, slammed on his brakes, then jumped out and began yelling at the other driver.

The baby was left in the car in the middle of a busy intersection.

The infant was not hurt, but Esparza was charged by police.

Esparza’s bail was set at $5,000.
